Weather Equipment

The hood on both the TD and TF was a biscuit colours single duck with a light tan hood frame. Black frames are also common, but they are generally replacement hoods. A two-bow hood system was originally fitted but from chassis number TD 20374 in 1952, a three-bow frame was introduced and carried over to the TF. A tonneau cover in matching biscuit colour came as standard. It was usually a half-tonneau but a full cover was offered as an optional extra.
