Accessories Lowering Blocks & Springs

Improve handling by reducing the centre of gravity. These 1" lowering blocks fit between the springs and axle. Elongated U bolts are supplied. Originally specified as a Special Tuning option for MGBs, fast road and lowered front could springs reduce ride height and stiffen front suspension. Road coil springs rated at 480lb, reduce the ride height by 1" on chrome bumper and 2" on rubber bumper MGBs. Fast road coil springs, rated at 550lbwill lower the front end by approximately 1 1/4" on chrome bumper and 2 1/4" on rubber bumper MGBs. In some instances, 5mm spacers and shorter bump stops may be required to counter the reduction in suspension travel and prevent the vehicle from sitting on the bump stops.
